We are currently looking for a Database Architect/Consultant to support a strategic redesign of their on-premise database landscape.
The project involves a reassessment and realignment of the existing database environment with a strong focus on long-term stability and maintainability.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing target architectures for stable on-premise systems.

  • Reorganizing relational data structures of critical importance.

  • Ensuring operational continuity in high-risk environments.

  • Hardening architecture against rigorous security standards.

  • Eliminating vulnerabilities within the legacy database landscape.

 

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience designing and redesigning database architectures for long-term use
  • Deep hands-on background with on-premise and legacy relational databases
  • (Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MariaDB)
  • Experience working in mission-critical environments where downtime or risk is not acceptable
  • A strong focus on database design, data modeling, normalization, and maintainability
  • Solid exposure to security and compliance requirements (e.g. GDPR, regulated environments)
