Key Responsibilities
- Architect & Build: Design and operate end-to-end GenAI knowledge services and multimodal retrieval systems on Azure.
- Infrastructure Optimization: Maximize AI hardware performance, power efficiency, and cost-scalability across the computational stack.
- Vector & RAG Mastery: Own the integration of Azure OpenAI, semantic index design, and advanced vector embedding strategies.
- Data Engineering: Develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks and Data Factory for seamless AI data ingestion.
- Production-Grade AI: Implement rigorous prompt engineering, safety guardrails, and model monitoring for context-aware responses.
- Technical Leadership: Act as the SME for vendor evaluation, cross-functional team management, and high-level architectural decisions.
- Experience: 3–6+ years in ML/AI systems, with 2+ years specialized in LLM/Vector stacks and modern AI infrastructure.
- Advanced Toolkit: Proficient in Python, Azure AI Search, AKS/ACA, and OCR/Vision tools (Tesseract, Form Recognizer, OpenCV).

Modern AI Stack: Hands-on with LLMs, Vector Search (RAG), and Azure-specific services (Azure OpenAI, Databricks, AKS).

Strategic Oversight: Lead cross-functional teams, manage high-level decision-making, and provide solutions that scale across multiple departments.

Optimization: Monitor and tune AI systems for peak operational health (AIOps) and hardware scalability.
