Role Overview

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our dynamic product development team. You will play a key role within a Scrum team, ensuring that every deliverable meets the highest quality standards. This includes active participation in refinement sessions, creating and executing detailed test cases, and validating the system’s end-to-end functionality, performance, and accessibility.

As part of this role, you will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and solution architects to deliver a reliable, high-quality, and user-friendly application that supports critical business processes.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.
  • Design, develop, and maintain detailed test cases covering functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end business scenarios.
  • Execute manual testing to validate the application’s functionality, usability, and accessibility.
  • Ensure compliance with accessibility standards, including screen reader validation, keyboard navigation, and color contrast checks.
  • Use Xray (or equivalent test management tools) for test planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (developers, analysts, architects) to identify, document, and resolve defects early in the process.
  • Provide clear documentation of testing outcomes, known issues, and validation steps.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, test coverage, and release readiness.

 

Required Skills & Experience
Core QA & Testing Skills

  • Proven experience in functional and quality assurance testing for web or enterprise applications.
  • Strong proficiency in test design, planning, and execution using Xray or similar tools.
  • Experience maintaining structured test plans across multiple test types (functional, integration, regression).
  • Solid understanding of UI and UX validation for modern web applications.
  • Practical knowledge of Accessibility Testing (WCAG standards, screen readers, keyboard navigation).
  • Ability to design end-to-end business scenario test cases aligned with real user flows.
  • Agile & Collaboration Skills
  • Hands-on experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Strong communication and collaboration with developers, analysts, and architects.
  • Proactive approach to identifying issues and ensuring quality deliverables.
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail, with clear communication in English (both written and spoken).

 

Technical & Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Familiarity with test automation tools (ability to extend manual coverage with automated tests).
  • Basic knowledge of API testing (e.g., Postman).
  • Experience performing multi-system integration testing.
  • Understanding of SAP environments and enterprise system dependencies.
  • Ability to create and maintain QA documentation and process standards.
